Fathers Forgotten:
A Dedication to the Silenced
Every day, Black and Brown fathers—and the families who love them—are pushed to the margins. Some are forced out of their children’s lives by biased courts, false accusations, and a child support system designed to punish, not support. Others are swallowed by mass incarceration or caught in the crosshairs of gun violence—young men and boys who never had a chance.
Too many of these stories end the same way: in silence.
This Space Is for Them
For the fathers fighting to be seen.
For the sons lost too soon.
For the families left behind to grieve, remember—and speak.
Why This Matters
Inspired by the themes in Live or Die Tryin’, this platform confronts the systems that target and trap Black and Brown men—from the school-to-prison pipeline to mass incarceration and state violence.
Here, we collect the stories the world tries to ignore. Real voices. Raw truth.
Through writing and audio, we’re building a living archive to expose injustice, honor the silenced, and demand real change.
